Thursday, August 21, 1968 was the middle night of the Grateful Dead's BG-133 bracket at Fillmore West - the Dead, Kaleidoscope, and Albert Collins again, under Griffin and Kelley's double-sized sheet (per billgrahamfoundation and wolfgangs; the night corroborated on dead.net, setlist.fm, and a circulating soundboard). It is the best-documented of the three: the Aug 21 performance was later given an official release as a vinyl bonus with the deluxe Grateful Dead Origins book, preserving a set that ran through Cryptical/The Other One, Dark Star, St. Stephen > The Eleven, and a Turn On Your Lovelight to close. The poster around it was already legend-in-the-making - a top-tier Bill Graham card, the first double-sized one in the series.
