John H. Myers is a thinly documented poster artist credited on a handful of mid-1960s San Francisco pieces in the early Bill Graham (BG) series. Almost nothing biographical about him as a person — birth, training, life — is reliably recorded, and what circulates online is largely promotional boilerplate. What is documented is the work: he is credited on several 1966–67 Fillmore posters, notably BG-27 (Mothers of Invention / Oxford Circle, Sept. 1966) and BG-33 (the Yardbirds with Beck and Page / Country Joe & the Fish, Oct. 23, 1966), with BG-52 (B.B. King / Moby Grape, 1967) also attributed to him. BG-33 is sometimes misattributed to Wes Wilson, since it resembles his style. (No connection to the Matrix club could be confirmed.)
